No Wars on Earth Day

Updated: Sep 18, 2023

The war left us with a mess of a planet. Explosive weapons in urban areas created vast quantities of debris and rubble which caused air and soil pollution. Radiation and toxic substances from hazardous weapons had long-term health damage to human and livestock. When industrial, oil, or energy facilities are attacked, massive damage occurs. Large-scale pollution can lead to transboundary impacts through the contamination of rivers, aquifers, sea, and even affect the global climate. We are calling on President of Russia and the President of Ukraine for No Wars on Earth Day!
